I try to balance my budget between basic everyday items and a few special pieces. whenever i find something that actually works well, i tend to reorder it later. trendy pieces are fun, but i only buy them when the price is reasonable. some care only about style, others focus on comfort and durability. a good store usually answers questions quickly and does not hide behind canned messages.
if anyone is interested in real user experiences, i sometimes write short notes about the shops i test.

when it comes to eyewear, the small details really matter over time. otherwise they become clutter in the closet after the trend is over. the main things i look at for glasses are frame weight, hinge quality and lens coating. they are simply the ones that fit well and survive many rounds of washing or daily use. recently i have been testing several online eyewear shops to compare frames and lenses. at least here we can see more honest opinions and not only polished marketing content. now i am more careful with impulse buys and limited time offers.
hope this helps someone.
